Firearms Safety Training

Massachusetts requires completion of an approved firearms safety course to be eligible for a License to Carry Firearms (LTC) LTC-A  or LTC-B, or an FID card.  I teach the NRA Home Firearms Safety Course and the NRA Basic Pistol Course.   I usually teach one-on-one or small groups.  Lots of couples and even families have taken my course.  I offer  to come to peoples homes or businesses, but I have classroom space and range access at American Firearms School in North Attleboro (I'm not affiliated).I don't read word for word off of powerpoint, and students are actively involved breaking down firearms, loading and unloading them with practice ammo, and seeing how they work.  The Basic Pistol Class has live fire at an indoor range.  My students get to shoot 150 rounds or more.   The classes are meant to be challenging and fun  My students tell me that taking the Home Firearms Safety Class in their own home with friends and family  is more productive and enjoyable than would be in a large, impersonal class.

Rep. Barney Frank causes scene demanding discount

Barney

No comment here, if these are the facts let them speak for themselves. From the NY Post Online:

Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank caused a scene when he demanded a $1 senior discount on his ferry fare to Fire Island's popular gay haunt, The Pines, last Friday. Frank was turned down by ticket clerks at the dock in Sayville because he didn't have the required Suffolk County Senior Citizens ID. A witness reports, "Frank made such a drama over the senior rate that I contemplated offering him the dollar to cool down the situation..." Jim McKenna runs for Attorney General

Write in Candidate who is not Martha Coakley.   Check out his web page.  I understand he is a huge supporter of the 2nd amendment.  We are waiting on his official position statement.

Jim McKenna

Message from Jim -

Like you, I am tired of public corruption, government mismanagement and the erosion of rights for average Americans.  It seems our current leaders are more interested in protecting everyone but us hard working Americans.  This needs to stop.

I believe that the current Attorney General is out of step with Massachusetts voters on illegal immigration, reform and prosecuting political corruption.  She has been more focused on prosecuting Garden Clubs than with the lawmakers stuffing bribes down their shirts.  It has been federal authorities that were responsible for uncovering and prosecuting the most significant corruption charges, including those against former Boston state Sen. Dianne Wilkerson... (visit  his web site for the rest)

I'm Speechless.  Must move to Arizona...

Get out the vote.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

(Samuel Adams -- 1776)
