Mass. Approved Basic Firearms Safety Classes:
1.
Massachusetts Pistol License ($90/$149 w Live Fire)
Qualifies for
License to Carry (LTC-A and LTC-B) and FID
Classroom Training / Optional Live Fire. (LTC-020) 5.0 Hours, 7.0 with the shooting option. It is a concealed
carry / self defense styled class.
2.
NRA Home Firearms Safety ($90)
Qualifies for
License to Carry (LTC-A and LTC-B) and FID.
Classroom Training. Not a live fire course. (LTC-007)

4 Hours . This class is often referred to as the Mass. Basic Firearms Safety Class.
Actually, there are over 20 approved Mass. BFS courses.

NRA Live Fire
Basic Pistol ($130)
Qualifies for
License to Carry (LTC-A and LTC-B) and FID
Classroom and Live Fire Range Time.
(LTC-002) 8 Hours. It is a recreational shooting styled class.
Our women-only version
of this course addresses the limited upper-body body strength of many
women and takes note of their quick acquisition of marksmanship skills.
We use lighter and more compact firearms in the
women's only
class.

at your convenience in Braintree or Mansfield, MA
- Perfect if you are waiting for your license and
want a "head start." There is no substitute for live fire
training with real guns and ammo.

- Range and Firearms Safety Instruction
- Use .22 semi-auto Ruger Mark III pistol and
Ruger 10/22 semi-auto rifle
- 100 rounds of ammunition, targets, hearing
and eye protection provided
- Intermediate Shooters Package ($130)
- 1.5 hours of Coaching and Live Fire Training
- Range and Firearms Safety Instruction
- Use 9mm Walther P99 and Ruger Security Six
.357 Magnum revolver with .38 and .357 ammunition
- 100 rounds of ammunition, targets, hearing
and eye protection.
- Advanced Shooters Package ($175)
- 2 hours of Coaching and Live Fire
Training
- Range and Firearms Safety Instruction
- Use
Ruger Security Six .357 Magnum Revolver, .45 ACP Smith and Wesson 1911,
and your choice of 5.56mm NATO AR-15 or 7.62mm x 54r Mosin Nagant
Russian WWII Infantry Rifle
- 100 rounds of ammunition, targets, hearing
and eye protection.
- Coaching
for Boston's Moon Island Target test. Also we can administer
the
target test for Brookline and State of Rhode Island.
- Private
classes at your home or at our Mansfield classroom, at regular rates
($200 minimum paid in advance)
Your Gun 101. It's Care and
Feeding ($125)
This 3 hour
private session will introduce you to the care and carry of your
specific firearm. One-on-one, range time included.

Mass Gun Laws By and For Non-Lawyers - How to
Stay out of Trouble ($50 Pre-pay / $60)
This
comprehensive 3 hour presentation will help anyone with an interest in
Mass. Firearms
Law.
NRA Personal Protection In The Home ($150 Pre-Pay / $160)
This course will
teach you effective ways to
defend your home, use your handgun to protect your self and family,
and provide information on the law-abiding individual’s right
to
self-defense. 10 hours.
Medical First Responder with CPR and
AED for Professionals
Jeff Kaplan is
the owner and principal instructor at RKBA Personal Training.
He is a
911 experienced Mass. EMT-Paramedic providing instruction in First
Responder, CPR and
First Aid. Our classes provide nationally
recognized certification.
