Policy:
RKBA Personal Safety
Training (RKBA) is committed to protecting your
privacy. We only use the information we collect
about you to register you for classes, make
notifications, and document your participation with
the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and NRA as
appropriate.
Secure Server:
We use a Secure Server for collecting
information you provide. The secure server layer
(SSL) encrypts (scrambles) the information you enter
before it is transmitted over the internet and sent
to us. SSL Certificates protect customer information
from being stolen.
Terms and
Conditions - Cancellations - Refunds:
The purchaser agrees he/she (and party) will
attend the selected class and is reserving a seat or
seats and resources for this purpose. A minimum $20 per
person deposit is required for most classes and can be paid by check or credit
card. The balance remaining must be paid by cash,
check, or credit card at the time of the class. RKBA Personal Safety Courses: Cancellations by the
purchaser may be made by US Mail, phone, voice mail,
or email and must be received by RKBA prior to class start time, and a refund of the
paid amount to RKBA
will be credited to the purchaser. Persons who cancel after class start time, or “no shows” will receive a
transferable voucher from RKBA for the amount paid,
and may be used towards any scheduled class within
60 days of issuance, with the original sale price
“locked in.” Note:
Some classes are delivered and owned by independent instructors who are
being hosted by RKBA. Their refund and cancelation policies may
differ substantially from RKBA's. In those cases their
policies are noted within their course description and an alert is
noted on the sign up-page adjacent the deposit selection list. Deposits are required. Notice
that deposits are required is placed in several locations on this web
site. A minimum $20 deposit is required for all classes unless
otherwise, explicitly stated in writing or published. A
registration without an accompanying deposit, or without arrangement to
make a deposit, may be disregarded at RKBA's discretion with or without
notice to the registrant. There is no promise that an instructor will
be present for any registrant who has not made a deposit. Eligibility for licenses
and permits:
Before registering,
students are responsible for determining whether
they have legal disqualifiers preventing licensure
or permitting for the Mass. LTC or FID.
RKBA will not cancel our own classes due to low registration. Classes
offered through us by other independent providers have their own
policies. Please contact us beforehand if you have any questions about
any class offered. If RKBA cancels a class due to severe weather or
extreme emergency, or any other reason, every reasonable effort will be
made to contact registrants as early as possible by phone, and then
email, and a full refund of all money paid will be initiated
immediately.
Returns:
A person who has attended the class and is
dissatisfied, and requests a refund will receive a
full refund, however, no materials or certificates
of course completion will be issued.
